Dr. Neault is the President of the BC Chapter of the Canadian Counselling Association and recipient of the 2002 Stu Conger Award for Leadership in Career Counselling/Development in Canada. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and instructor specializing in career management and coaching amidst transitions. Dr. Neault has over two decades of professional experience in career counselling, corporate consulting, adult education, and entrepreneurial endeavours. She teaches online Masters in Counselling programs for Campus Alberta and Yorkville University and is the founder/developer of the fully online Career Management Professional Program, recently approved as curriculum for the Global Career Development Facilitator designation, which is the only online program to be recognized for that credential. Kate Collie is a
counsellor, art therapist, and artist who currently is a researcher
in Psycho-oncology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral
Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She has an
MA in Counselling Psychology and an Interdisciplinary PhD from the
University of British Columbia, and an MFA in Fine Art from the
University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her areas of interest
include: telehealth development, online counselling and art therapy,
psychosocial support services for women with breast cancer, and
qualitative research.
Kate has presented at international conferences around the world, has authored many publications, and is an Instructor for Therapy Online's course, Cybercounselling: Level 1. Over her twenty-year career as a visual artist, she taught art at schools and universities in the US and Canada, and exhibited her paintings and sculptures internationally. Mr. Short has 25 years of management, sales and marketing experience in the financial services and insurance industries, leading to senior sales management positions. He established TNN Software Inc. that designs personal financial planning and brokerage management software for the investment planning and insurance industries. He was also the Sales director for "The TrainingNet", providing Human Relations and Training industry E-commerce solutions. Currently, he is a Partner in Digital Data Backup Services , a technology company established to provide secure practice management data backup solutions to professionals such as doctors and other health professionals, lawyers, accountants and small to medium sized businesses. 984-9743 Mary MacDougall is the Executive Director of a major family service agency in Vancouver, BC. A graduate of the Ivy League institute, Smith College, Mary has many years of social service experience, including EAP service delivery, with children and families in both the United States and Canada. She has held faculty positions at the University of Windsor, the University of Waterloo, Wildred Laurier University, and the University of British Columbia. She has voluntarily served on many boards within the social service sector at both the local and national level and currently is a Board Governor with the Leon and Thea Koerner Foundation and Vancouver Art Therapy Institute.
